Hello. This is an Htc Evo 4g blog. I intend to document my Evo daily use. I have a rooted HTC evo running a Custom Rom. As of late, I havent been able to get over the sleek and stable MIUI rom. Finding your perfect rom comes from trial and error. There is a decent fit for everyone. Being with Sprint, (as you have to be if you have a Evo) there are definite advantages to rooting your phone. I came from a very open source community when I, like many Evo users, switched from my launch-day Palm Pre. It was very refreshing to have freedom to flash roms to pinpoint which things you want on your phone. The reason I got the Evo was because of its screen size, processor, camera, and build quality. Although certain phones may different features not on the Evo, it is arguably one of the best phones in the wild today. So just as in the way I was picky with chosing a phone, i am very pick about roms. Some roms are fast, some are slow, some are ugly, some are sleek and shiny. It is all personal preference, and whether you'd like to keep a form of HTC Sense and other bloatware on your phone.
